This Kalamazoo snowmobiler, Dave Osborn, had the surprise of his life while on a recent night ride in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. He was trailing another on a machine, running his Gopro camera and a young deer jumped out of nowhere and crashed into him on the trail. Impact at 50 seconds.
Holy Crap. I had a similar incident riding my bike on the trails down at Pte. Moullie. Deer was in the tall grass and she jumped right into me. Scared the crap out of me.

Reminds me of my long ride on a story in the U.P. One rider who was an Indy car racer who died at Indy that May as a result of a mechanical malfunction was traveling one UP trail at over 100 mph. It made me wonder what would have happened to him if the same thing had occurred. b

Hey Bill. Nice to hear from you. That’s way too fast. I suspect he wouldn’t have done very well. And this was a yearling. Imagine a big buck.
