McDonald’s has apparently come to realize that conservation is good business, at least letting people know that the company is concerned. Coffee and Conservation Blog author, Julie Craves, the director for the Rouge River Bird Observatory in Dearborn, MI, reports on the latest developments at McDonalds which involved working to educate and train more than 13,000 Guatemalan coffee farmers about sustainable coffee production which is good for birds.
