Experts from around the country have come to Michigan and explained the problems that exist as a result of having feral swine running wild on the landscape. They spread disease to domestic livestock and root up the environment. Michigan’s wildlife chief called them “Asian carp with four feet.” The new rules went into effect on April 1, 2012.
