Lake Michigan salmon fishery at risk without stocking reduction, educator says

Lake Michigan fish managers are proposing to reduce hatchery stocks to lower pressure on a diminishing forage base. Michigan is planning to hold a public workshop Saturday, April 14, in Benton Harbor to explain the situation to anglers and charter captains and get their feedback.
